So here's the thing. I'm unemployed. House is on the market, re-thinking the weekly food shop, worried about the kids, and I'm signing on. The well-being thing matters. Massively.


The emotional impact of job rejection and search is huge. You start to question your ability, age, worth and even whether it's been so long since you "worked" you've forgotten all you know. Until you go back to your story and focus on the one thing that pushes away negative thought and heavy self evaluation and criticism- well-being. It's always the answer. It allows you to move through absolutely any situation at all. But, a big but, you need to train your well-being and feed it big time.


The biggest way to achieve this is through movement. Any movement at all. It's not about how fast you move or how much faster you are v the next person, or vice-versa. It's not about how you look. It's not about being forced into something you don't want to do. It's simply the art of moving for well-being's sake. For You.


Every day needs it- you need it. I'm a big believer that moving in the fresh air outweighs any stifled room (understand not always possible and yoga outside right now would not be my thing). This isn't a new concept by any means- we all lived it during Covid lockdowns. The incredible thing is you never know what you'll see and the power of these tiny things is insane.


I move. I run. If I don't want to run I'll walk. I practice yoga 5 times a week. If I don't fancy yoga I walk. And so on. It's the cycle that keeps you going, the resilience you test and the willpower you build. If there's no cycle, there's no wheel, no continuum so it breaks. Until you start again. The cycle is yours to own, movement is yours to determine.


So today I move. with bungee fit. I'm going to put it to the test with Bezu Health & Fitness in Esher who have kindly offered me a trial class with a wonderful teacher called Sina.


The power of movement, any by the way, is immense. New forms of movement can be liberating and bungee fit ticks all the boxes.

The workout has a high intensity and low impact, especially on the joints. Your body uses the resistance of the bungee to engage your core allowing our core to be challenged throughout the entire workout. And my god your core knows it afterwards....
